| Exactly cos i have those in my world deck thats why its annoying cos i might just have that and a plague spitter witch is worth 2B soo bam i already have a creature out in the first upkeep  | |

Illustrations: Rebecca Guay People in Vintage tournaments play Dark Rituals then slap out phage on turn one. They are also useful for turn one wins. It is the best mana acceleration card ever. | |

| taurean mauler is also a handy card against slivers, its a red card though so dont know if that will fit into your dek. its a 2/2 changeling with 'whenever an opponent plays a spell, you may put a +1/+1 counter on taurean mauler' so not only does it gain all the abilities of your opponents slivers in play it also grows stronger every time they play a spell of any type. | |

thats the only thing.. it doesn't fit into my deck, i have to make an all black deck to have enough mana to play 'phage the untouchable'
